I’ve been showcasing TSLOPE—TAGAsoft’s 3D slope stability analysis program—with our partners Maptek at the 10th International Mining Geology Conference in Hobart, Tasmania.
It was great to catch up with Bruce Hutchison of Hillgrove Resources after his presentation titled “Case study of the design and performance of open pit walls at the Kanmantoo Copper Mine” co-authored with colleagues. The paper showed how well executed data collection and analysis can lead to significant savings in waste excavation costs.
The conference is jointly convened by the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG).
