Alternate copy of the 2014 Reyes & Parra mine waste dump analysis. The study demonstrates that 3D LEM gives more realistic FS values by accounting for the true 3D failure surface, stratigraphic variability, and waste dump geometry. Reinforces the finding that 2D critical sections may misrepresent the controlling mechanism.
