A Fast Triangular Surface Intersection Algorithm and Its Typical Geological Applications

Wei et al. present an efficient computational geometry algorithm for intersecting triangular surface meshes, enabling rapid modelling of geological boundaries, structural surfaces and 3D geometries. The method improves robustness and computation speed for mesh-based modelling workflows.
