The Use of Finite Element Computed Pore-Water Pressures in a Slope Stability Analysis

Krahn, Lam and Fredlund demonstrate how pore-water pressures obtained from finite-element seepage analyses can be imported into LEM for more realistic stability evaluations. They show improved modelling of complex seepage fields, stratigraphy and drawdown.
