Influence of Fines Content on the Undrained Cyclic Shear Strength of Sand–Clay Mixtures

Kim et al. conduct cyclic simple-shear tests to assess how fines content affects undrained cyclic strength in sand–clay mixtures. Increasing fines generally reduces shear strength and increases cyclic deformation, with transitional behaviour depending on plasticity and fines ratio.
