Three-Dimensional Stability Charts for Uniform Slopes

Michalowski develops three‑dimensional stability charts for homogeneous slopes based on limit‑analysis solutions. The paper extends previous 2D work to 3D geometries and provides non‑dimensional stability numbers covering slope angle, depth and strength parameters. The charts allow quick estimation of factors of safety or required shear strength for 3D slopes without detailed numerical modelling.
